2013 (Part II Masters course, University of Westminster)
PART II MASTERS PROJECT // This is a temple of the here and now: designed to enhance and intensify the current weather conditions on the central London site. Rain pours through the perforated skin and fills underfloor crevices; sunlight passes through magnifiers and burns timber flooring; wind whistles round rotating panels. The materiality of the building (copper, steel, timber and limestone) changes through weathering. This sensory experience encourages users to engage with what is happening at that given moment, rather than dwell on the past or worry about the future.
