Clay Hedge

PART II MASTERS PROJECT // The Clay Hedge is a prototype designed to prevent dangerous fracking development from going ahead on at-risk green spaces in Croydon (where shale gas has been located).  The simple, clay modules can be built by local school pupils, who then install the prototypes on parks by their schools.  The prototypes house animal species that are protected by UK law: development cannot occur where these animals are found.  As these new ecosystems take hold, fracking is prevented.
