I was commissioned by Grace and Alex Pritchard to design their wedding stationery. Their brief was that the design should feature the beautiful stone gate at their wedding venue, and the view beyond. I suggested incorporating floral details based on their ideas for the wedding flowers, to link the view to their day and to create a softer, summery image. I also created a "logo" of their initials, which I overlayed onto the image to further personalise the design.
I created a suite of the following stationery items, with a consistent theme:
- RSVP card
- Labels for invitation envelopes
- Labels for RSVP envelopes
- Order of service
... other stationery items can also be designed, such as menus and signage for the day itself.
"She’s so talented I could change nothing from her first draft and looking back at them they totally embodied the day. I’m so proud of them – not that I’d contributed that much!" - feedback from Grace Pritchard (the bride).
I would love to chat to you about your own wedding stationery, and work together to create something beautiful and personal that you and your guests will treasure! Please get in touch if you would like to discuss a commission.
The images below show the invitation design (front and inside), the RSVP card design, and the order of service (the latter was photographed by the wedding photographer on the day). The other photos show the gate at Grace and Alex's lovely venue - Shillingstone House in Dorset. I worked from these to create the design. The final photos are from the day itself.
